Reading Signs: Idea #154

Try to encourage your students to read things. What I mean is, when they are in the car, have them try to read road signs to you. When you are shopping in the grocery store, have them try to read the isle signs. When you are cooking, have them read the recipe to you. When you go to a restaurant, have them read part of the menu. The more you make them read to you, the quicker it will come. You may have to be very patient in the beginning, but it will pay off. Most importantly, they will be learning tough words and words that they see day to day.
