Are you trying to find a way to motivate your student to read more silent e words? You should try playing The Magic e Adventures. I bet your student would love playing this online game. 

In the game a wizard has cast a spell on a prince and turned him into a frog. In order for the frog to get to the princess and turn back into a prince, the student must use the magic wand to drag or click on the silent e word that is heard.
